Chennai based VELS UNIVERSITY conferred a D.Litt Honorary Doctorate Degree on V.P.Dhananjayan on 14th December 2011. Former President Dr.Abdul Kalam was the chief guest on the second convocation of the University when Dhananjayan received the honour.
