Naatyaachaaryas V.P.& Shanta Dhananjayan (The Dhananjayans) were honoured with the title & award "SHRESHTA KALAA PRACHARAK" by Dr. Saroja Vaidiyanathan's Ganesha Naatyalaya, New Delhi on April 9th 2018. The award function was held in the Delhi Tamizh Sangam auditorium, RK Puram, and given away by Hon. Governor of Goa, Smt. Mridula Sinha.
